This axiom seems to be completely missing, or at least grossly underemphasized, by the process evangelists and literature, but it is usually very observable in successful software projects.
It makes a lot of sense when we look at it energetically, because if we think about a 1 s core electron, that's going to be held really, really tightly to the nucleus.
There is a price to be paid in that it is a delicate crop that cannot be lifted by machine or it will be bruised and rot, so has to be hauled by hand which is expensive.
