Tethered as he was to his equine-powered darkroom and with film speeds being much slower then, Brady produced war photos that are understandably light on the action and heavy on the aftermath.
It's hard to understand why they would not be affected, whereas dinosaurs were left too crippled to cope, especially if, as some scientists believe, dinosaurs were warm-blooded.
"If I see somebody who is throwing their life away with both hands and is raging around and destroying their family, I can't understand that person," he said.
"I don't know what they would think those that understand it, but I loved it" is a declaration often heard when he leaves the movies or finishes a novel that has ensnared him.
